Saloumeh Souzanchi born on November 21, 1980, is an Iranian artist whose work merges her background in psychology with her artistic practice. Originally trained in Polymer Engineering at Amirkabir University, Souzanchi made a pivotal shift in her career, leaving engineering to pursue her passion for art. She went on to earn a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Advanced Studies in art.

Her artistic journey is characterized by a deep exploration of psychological themes and the human experience, often expressed through printmaking.  As a psychodynamic psychotherapist in Tehran, Souzanchi’s work investigates different aspect of human, psyche, identity, and emotion, to engage viewers with the complexities of the mind and spirit.
